While my travels will take me through over 30 National Parks between August and December 2017, it was my previous visits to our Parks that inspired me to take the leap into full-time National Park travel.
US National Parks which I have had the privilege to behold previously include:
- Rocky Mountain
- Guadalupe Mountains (pictured in this post)
- Carlsbad Caverns
- Grand Teton
- King’s Canyon
- Death Valley
Though I plan to return to a handful of these gorgeous locales this Fall (Rocky Mountain and Death Valley, specifically), please note that the exclusion of any other National Parks from my itinerary is solely due to time constraints. All 59 US National Parks merit more time and attention than I am giving them on this journey, and I encourage you to explore any and all that you can. I want to specifically call out both Grand Teton and King’s Canyon National Parks. I foolishly chose to only spend a single day in each, and intend to return to both for at least a week apiece in the future. They are spectacular in size, scope, and scenery, and will undoubtedly inspire beyond compare should you be so lucky as to visit.
Stay tuned for the first Park posts from this trip – starting with Wind Cave and Badlands National Parks!
